The shaft driven tail is a first for this size application; previous models used motor driven tails, which could not keep up with the rapid torque demands of the main rotor, causing the tail to "step out" and not hold in 3D flight applications. Shaft Drive fixes this problem, allowing the tail rotor to maintain a constant speed in proportion to the main rotor, and allowing the gyro to send instant corrections to the tail servo, which are then transferred to the tail rotor for ultra precise control.
Further enhancing this RTF package is Walkera's latest WK-2801 Pro Transmitter, which features an LCD screen & multiple push keys for all aspects of programmability. No longer are you limited by typical RTF transmitters, which feature no adjustments or programming - the Walkera Pro Transmitter is fully programmable with an (8) model memory, and will allow you to adjust all manners of the helicopters performance and flight characteristics, allowing you to tune the helicopter to your specific needs. The WK-2801Pro transmitter uses 2.4Ghz technology, featuring automatic code pairing and ID assignment.
LCD display of the WK-2801Pro is simple to understand and easy to manage.
The transmitter case is ergonomically designed, and the large LCD display features a white backlight with easy-to-read graphics.
The length & tension of the controls stick can be adjusted, and the transmitter can also be switched from Mode 2 to Mode 1 - Transmitter Included is Mode 2 with Throttle on Left.
